Yup, 2100+ messages. Haven't checked dA in a while. Or 500px. Or Instagram. Been busy with work and when I'm not working, I've been obsessing over Forza, trying to catch up with my brother's progress. I'm also sick again. Another cold + pinkeye this time. So. Yeah. Fuck me. Not dead. Just. Yeah. Not good.
But I'll survive and hopefully knock out some of those messages tomorrow before work.
Edit: No longer going to work, going to the doc for antibiotics instead of infecting everyone I work with/everyone that shops at my store
burned through about half of my notifications and I'll hit the rest of them tomorrow since I'm also off then. Made my Friday and Sunday shifts 8 hours to make up for losing 6 hours today, so that should be funnnn. Onto 500px!

Many of you haven't heard from me since my last post in November '17. I'm not sure if many of you care to know where I went or what I've been up to, but in case you have, I suppose I owe you a bit of an explanation. Buckle in, it's about to get way too personal and really, really long.

Basically, life happened. I had a part-time job for nearly a year by the time I disappeared, and sometime between roughly April '17 and my hiatus, I had picked up a new boss. February Update
Figured that this could be a thing while I actually have the ability to be bored and think about something for once.
Haven't gone out to shoot anything yet for this month's page of next year's proposed calendar, but I'm sure that'll change soon. January's shot was just a remake of a photo I took last year, in hopes that I would remember to submit it to the Iowa State Fair this year, but I'll also be including it in the calendar. I figured I didn't need two nearly identical images in my gallery, so I decided against uploading it. This is the old photo.

The main reason why I've been unemployed up to this point is because I wanted a part time job with good benefits - like my brother's - where he gets health, dental, and all sorts of other good stuff that most part time positions aren't usually given at other companies. The only place that I knew of that would give benefits to part time workers is where my brother works, which really only needs help in one position... which is the position my brother works in. I wasn't on for months since working and stuff. First my gf randomly decided long distance wasn't for her, then I found a restaurant busser/dishwasher job, plus I started university courses over the summer. I quit my job recently for several reasons, now I'm taking autumn courses and working on some pre-pre-tests for driver license that talks about beer being bad, etc. I feel like I haven't been away from dA for that long though because I was doing so much.
